We strongly recommend using a weed barrier under all decorative stones as weeds will spoil the good looks of any stone bed regardless of the cost of the mulch. Hammond Farms carries C.M.H.D. contractor grade weed fabric. Weed fabric will allow water to pass through to plants, but resists weeds. The following is a list of our decorative stones, their prices and a brief description of each item.
Crushed Granite chips that are approximately 1/2 to 3/4″ in size. This product gives a very unique look, while adding contrast to any landscape project.
This is a lightweight, porous stone that is mined in Colorado. They are some of our most popular decorative stones, due to their deep color and relative low price. This particular stone is a solid black in color.
Canadian marble is the brightest white landscape stone that we offer and will highlight any landscaped area.
This soft brown stone is named for its resemblance to the food of the same name, but for dental and nutritional reasons we discourage its use for snacking or baking.
This is another multi-colored stone mulch that is made up of red, brown and tan pieces. This stone is rapidly becoming one of our best sellers!
As the name suggest, this is a lilac colored stone, which is approximately 1” in size.
This is a smooth textured, tan/brown colored stone. Its neutral color allows it to blend with most earth tones, and almost any landscape configuration.
This new stone has already become very popular. Northern Trap Rock is dark grey with a hint of green.
Pearl Nuggets are a tan to off white to brown colored stone that range in size from ½ to 1 inch.
