Decorative Stone Mulch

HAMMOND FARMS carries one of Mid-Michigan’s largest varieties of decorative stone mulches.  Our selection of different colored and textured stones is sure to offer the ideal material for any project.   

We strongly recommend using a weed barrier under all decorative stones as weeds will spoil the good looks of any stone bed regardless of the cost of the mulch.  Hammond Farms carries C.M.H.D. contractor grade weed fabric. Weed fabric will allow water to pass through to plants, but resists weeds.  The following is a list of our decorative stones, their prices and a brief description of each item.

  Crushed Granite chips that are approximately 1/2 to 3/4" in size. This product gives a very unique look, while adding contrast to any landscape project.

  This is a lightweight, porous stone that is mined in Colorado. They are some of our most popular decorative stones, due to their deep color and relative low price. This particular stone is a solid black in color.
